Principal's Message 1.10.25
WE Run is returning to Cherokee this spring! WE Run is a Lakota-based running program that uses running as a way to help kids build self-confidence, achieve goals, and be healthy! Both boys and girls of all grades are invited to participate. It occurs twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, for 6 weeks before culminating in a local 5k! We meet immediately after school with pick-up at 4:30. The program cost is $130, which includes a brand new pair of running shoes, a t-shirt, water bottle, and more. What a crazy first week back with all of the snow!! While we were only here for two days, Cherokee was full of smiles as we came back to school and got back into our routines.
We have a PTA meeting on Wednesday, January 15th at 6:00 PM in the HUB. We are always looking for new families to attend and bring new, fresh ideas. We’d love for you to join us!
