Our School
Welcome to Cherokee!
Cherokee Elementary is the Home of the Cheetahs. We are located in Liberty Township, Ohio, a northern suburb of Cincinnati. We educate grades three through six with a diverse student population of about 800 students. Cherokee has a caring and nurturing child-centered staff who always focus on children first.
This website allows easy access to everything you need to stay informed and connected to all things Cherokee. We invite you to use this website as a vehicle for communication throughout the school year, as well as Cheetah Mail, our Twitter page and our PTA Facebook page. Our administrators have an open door policy in order to foster relationships and partner in the success of our students.
Our goal is to provide a safe learning environment where students feel a sense of community through teamwork and collaboration. We are committed to providing rigorous learning opportunities that will enable each student to achieve their personal best, preparing them for the future. We want our students to grow socially through positive relationships built on kindness, respect and cultural understanding of others. We have high expectations for all students with an emphasis on academic achievement and growth, behavior and character.
Our students and their parents are engaged at Cherokee Elementary through academic programs, musical performances, March Madness basketball, and other programs sponsored by our Parent Teacher Association. The combination of supportive parents, eager students, and a talented staff has enabled us to create a culture of success.
Please add us to your "favorites" and check the website often for the most updated Cheetah information.
